Neptune

Qur planet is NEPTUNE!I think that we were really good at helping eachother out with ideas.We took a really long time with the pictures.I learned that Neptune is the eighth planet from the sun. Why isn't Pluto a planet anymore? I think we were thinking a lot together.

    Miguel and Carlos,

    Good job on your research. I loved the pictures that you drew. They were so cool.

    It seems you have learned a lot, so I can ask you my hard questions. You said that the seasons on Neptune are 44 years long. I did not know that. Why are the seasons so much longer than Earth's? Why do we have seasons on Earth (maybe that explains the difference in seasons on Neptune).

    Perhaps my favorite picture was the one about gravity. You said that if you weighed 58 pounds on Earth you would weigh 65 on Neptune. I assume that means stronger gravity on Neptune. That is cool, I didn't realize that. Why do you think the gravity is stronger on Neptune? Is Neptune bigger or smaller than Earth?

    Thanks for the informaion about Neptune's gases. How do these gases differ from Earth's atmosphere that make life possible on Earth?
